상품 상세설명
Description
AngiotensinI Converting Enzyme (ACE1) is an important enzyme that controls blood pressure regulation by acting as a Dipeptidyl Carboxypeptidase that cleaves the C-terminal Dipeptides of AngiotensinI and Bradykinin in the Renin-Angiotensin System (RAS). ACE1 is specifically found on the Luminal Surface of vascular endothelial cells within lung tissue. ACE1 levels increase in patients with Sarcoidosis, Leprosy, Hyperthyroidism, Acute Hepatitis, Primary Biliary Cirrhosis, Diabets, and Miliary Tuberculosis. The PicoSensTM ACE I Activity Assay Kit uses Synthetic o-aminobenzoyl Peptide as a substrate, and the ACE1 Activity can be simply quantified up to 10 mU by measuring the Free Fluorophore with a fluorescent Microplate Reader.
