Biomax’s RIPA buffer / Mild protein extraction butter are very rapid and efficient. It is used for cell lysis and solubilization of proteins from mamalian cultured cells (both adherent and suspension cell) The RIPA (radioimmunoprecipitation assay)buffer is a commonly used solution for lysis and protein extraction and can be used with western blot, BCA protein assay, immuno assay or other biochemical determination. The formulation of RIPA lysis buffer includes two ionic detergents and one nonionic detergent in Tris buffer: 25 mM Tris-HCl, pH 7.6, 150 mM NaCl, 1% NP40, 1% sodium deoxycholate and 0.1% sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS). Mild protein extraction buffer provides mild lysis condition that maintain protein activity without denaturation.
